Months before his third birthday, the school’s mascot Victor E. Bulldog II passed away after being stung by a bee. He went into anaphylactic shock, the result of an allergic reaction.

Dr. Kelly Weaver, the Fresno veterinarian who donated the beloved mascot to the athletic department, released the following statement via Go Bulldogs:
When news broke of his passing, people flocked to social media to share their adorable photos of the dog.
