In Dallas, the SMU athletic department granted free admission for everyone to the Mustangs' final home game of the season against Central Florida because of snowy and icy weather.

Free admission to see the Mustangs fight for bowl eligibility against BCS Bowl-bound Central Florida? Who wouldn't want to attend that game, even if it is a bit chilly in Dallas?
The Answer: Pretty much everyone.
But the university did try to "warm up" the stadium with a giant jumbotron fireplace.

So yeah, there's really not much you can offer to get people in Dallas to go outside in winter weather to watch an AAC football game.
